What we move
Exit 8 Corp is a US freight brokerage that arranges full-truckload shipping - dry van, refrigerated and flatbed - for food & beverage and building-materials shippers across the lower 48. You tender a load, we price it all-in within 30 minutes during business hours, assign a carrier that passed 5-point vetting, and track it to proof of delivery.
Truckload only. If we can't verify the carrier, the load doesn't move.
The truck that loads is the truck that delivers. No re-brokering, no swap at a truck stop - the rate con names the carrier, and the seal proves it.
Twist-locks set at four corners

Don't trust us. Verify us.
Authority, bond and insurance - every claim checks out in a public database or one phone call. That's the whole pitch: freight fraud can't survive verification.
Carrier vetting runs through Carrier Index - FMCSA authority and insurance data plus their own network checks on every truck we assign. The same rails verify us. Scrub the lookup →
Illustrative lookup - live data at FMCSA SAFER & Carrier Index.

3The night desk
Too small for a mega-broker's A-team? Not here.
At the big houses, a five-load-a-week shipper gets the trainee desk. At Exit 8 your freight is the main business: the same dispatchers every day, who know your dock hours, your receivers and your lanes by heart.
1-50 loads a month is our core book, not our leftovers
A direct line to your dispatcher - not a ticket queue
When something breaks at 2 a.m., the phone gets answered
Nothing on top of the quote. A broker's margin lives inside the all-in rate - industry-wide it typically runs 15-30% of what the shipper pays. You get one number covering linehaul, fuel and our fee. If the market moves, you hear it from us before pickup - not on the invoice.
What's the difference between a freight broker and a 3PL?+
A freight broker covers loads: you tender, we price, vet the carrier and track to POD. A 3PL runs logistics operations - warehousing, contracts, a TMS, your whole network. If you have loads on a dock and want them moved right, you want a broker.
How do you vet carriers?+
Five checks before a truck touches your freight: active authority at least 6 months, insurance verified live with the agent, FreightGuard report and references, a dispatcher-to-dispatcher phone interview, and a first-load watch. The whole checklist is public on our Verify page.
What lanes do you cover?+
US domestic full truckload across the lower 48 - dry van, reefer and flatbed, built around food & beverage lanes. No parcel, no ocean, no air.
One load, start to finish
